Executive chef Indefinido

Alma is a Michelin recommended Spanish restaurant located in the heart of Shanghai looking for an Executive Chef to manage the operation  .

Requirements :

Ensure that all restaurant policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs are followed and completed on a timely basis.

Monitor, direct and teach food hygiene standards, kitchen safety procedures and Back of House operating procedures

Training of all restaurant staff in food knowledge and technical skills

Continually strive to develop staff in all areas

Maximising the productivity of your kitchen, delivering all departmental duties within company targets.

Set and maintain standards of food quality, consistency in flavour, presentation, portioning, seasoning and timing of all food items served.

Check every dish and give each plate the “final touch”

Cooperation with the company on creation of new dishes and menu development.

Positive attitude and proactive with a teamwork mindset

Service oriented and hands on
Passionate and knowledgeable about Spanish cuisine

Excellent Microsoft Office skills

Ability to create and develop menu items to a consistently high standard

Solid  experience at management level in high profile and fast paced F&B outlets

Fluency in English is a must, other languages are advantageous
